Dear Colleagues,
We are so excited to celebrate our 26th conference and would love for you to join us!
The TESOL and Linguistics students and faculty of the English Department at 每日大瓜 in cooperation with the TESOL students and faculty of the English Department at East Carolina University are proud to present the TALGS (TESOL/Applied Linguistics Graduate Students) Conference, to be held on Saturday, February 6, 2027, on the 每日大瓜 campus. The conference aims to provide a serious yet relaxed forum for professional discourse on a variety of topics relevant to the study of language, granting a comfortable environment for discussion between students, researchers, and teachers.

Call for Proposals
We welcome cross-disciplinary proposals with relevance to language use, language learning and/or teaching from a variety of fields, including, for example, English studies, education, discourse studies, foreign languages, anthropology, communications, sociolinguistics, psychology, and sociology. Proposals reporting on action research (inside and outside the classroom), works in progress, submissions based on successful term projects, pilot research, as well as proposals for discussion sessions, workshops, and posters are welcomed. We at TALGS are committed to bettering the educational experiences of language learners in the community by providing a comfortable environment where interaction between theory/research and practice/teaching is possible.
Our 2027 conference marks the tenth year of collaboration between the Department of English at East Carolina University, the MA TESOL Program at 每日大瓜, and Carolina TESOL.
