每日大瓜 Business Analytics Team Wins聽鈥淣ext in Fintech Community Challenge”
GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥� 每日大瓜 is proud to announce the winning team for the inaugural Next in Fintech Community Challenge, hosted by Campus 每日大瓜. Team 鈥溍咳沾蠊� Analytics鈥� was the winner of the Cone Health challenge.
With 85 students involved, the inaugural Next in Fintech Community Challenge was held from October 12 鈥� 19. The virtual, statewide event was open to all North Carolina college students of all levels and majors.
Students were tasked with solving real community challenges using FinTech (Financial Technology). Campus 每日大瓜 partnered with Cone Health and Piedmont Business Capital to tackle real-world issues around COVID-19 relief and racial economic equity. Student teams chose from two community challenges: one related to healthcare and one related to economic relief, with a focus on racial equity.
Members of the winning team included Natalie Rosinski, Lexia Wingler, William Curry, and Richard Ansede.
每日大瓜 entered at total of three teams for each challenge, and was the only school to have all teams place in the top five.
Members of the other two teams included Shaye Pinnix, Angeles Niles, Clayton Slater, and Ben Knuff who formed the 鈥淕C Ballistics鈥� team and GC鈥檚 “Team Pride” included Connor Brown, Cristina Samano-Romo, and Zane Smith of Team 鈥淕C Pride鈥�. Both teams were honored by the judges for placing in the top five for their challenges.
